We used the” Writing an e-mail to a friend” section of Unit 4, as a basis for our activity.

                     Students read this e-mail on http://www.toondoo.com/cartoon/7341809 .

 Then students go to http://quizlet.com/39803062/scatter . Here they will put the responding e-mail in order.

After this students will look at the expressions used in e-mails by looking at the sound cloud on http://tagul.com/preview?id=301153@1&name=Expressions. Then students go to https://cramberry.net/sets/140930-formal-informal-expressions/study and they do the flashcard study by writing “formal or informal” below.

Students will then return to tagul for another visiual. http://tagul.com/preview?id=301153@2&name=Describing%20a%20Film Using some of the phrases, all students will create a comic in which they describe a movie they have recently seen on http://chogger.com/create.

Lastly students will work in pairs and write eachother letters on http://www.readwritethink.org/files/resources/interactives/letter_generator/, where they talk about their recent favourite movie.
